Downtown Guerneville even has a tasting room now, as Nexus Organic, in addition to boasting fine local art, curiosities and exotic teas, now includes a tasting room with some choice wines from the area. Korbel Champagne Cellars, at 13250 River Rd., is just a few miles up river Road from Guerneville. With daily tours of these impressive grounds, you will find Korbel a great place to start or end your wine tasting excursion. West Side Road, just a few miles past Korbel, offers a delightful cluster of wineries, including Gary Ferrell, Moshin, Porter Creek, Hop Kiln, Twomey, Arista, Thomas George Estates, Matrix, Rochioli, Armida and Mill Creek. East of Guerneville on Highway 116, you will find Hartford Family Wines, Russian River Vineyards, Merry Edwards, Iron Horse Vineyards, Dutton Estate, and Tafts Street. Another cluster of fine wineries is on Olivet Road off of Guerneville Road on the way to Santa Rosa. Wineries on that road include Sunce, Hook & Ladder, De Loach, Pellegrini and Harvest Moon.
