Located along the Russian River, Riverfront Regional Park is just minutes west of downtown Windsor and surrounded by classic Wine Country scenery. The park features two beautiful lakes for fishing, kayaking, canoing and stand-up paddling. A 2-mile trail loops around the larger lake, Lake Benoist, with a short spur to a small beach on the Russian River. A .5-mile trail winds through a majestic grove of coast redwoods. The redwood forest also features one of Regional Parks’ largest and loveliest group picnic areas with a large barbecue, a volleyball area, and a horseshoe pit.
