Left Edge Theatre presents Honky (Matinee) @ Luther Burbank Center for the Arts
Jul 1 @ 2:00 pm

A dark comedy by Greg Kalleres

Directed by Argo Thompson

When a young African American is shot for a pair of basketball shoes, sales triple among white teens. Are ghetto-glorifying commercials to blame, or is it the white CEO that only sees dollar signs? Luckily, there’s a new pill on the market guaranteed to cure racism. This thought-provoking satire extends the conversation about racism to the important theatre audience.

Contains adult themes, including strong language.

Shrek the Musical

By Jeanine Tesori & David Lindsay-Abaire
Directed by Kerry Duvall
Music Director, Kelly Butler Considine

“All the things that make us special are the things that make us strong!”

“Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek….” Thus begins the tale of an unlikely – and green – hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered (and short) bad guy, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you’ve got irreverent fun for the whole family!

Opening Night Bubbly & Sunday Post-Show Meet & Greet:

Join us for opening night of any production and stay afterward for a celebratory toast to the cast and crew!

Immediately following all Sunday matinees, members of the cast and crew will return to the stage for photo ops.

100+ Wineries!

BARREL TASTING – TWO WEEKENDS…..
March 2-4 & March 9-11, 2018
11:00 am – 4:00 pm each day

Members of the Wine Road would like to welcome you to our wineries and lodgings for an exciting weekend of wine tasting. This is your chance to sample wines from the barrel, talk to winemakers and explore the beautiful Alexander, Dry Creek and Russian River Valleys.

Barrel Tasting is not a food pairing or themed event.  It’s all about the WINE…many wineries offer “futures” on their barrel samples. This is a chance to purchase wine now, often at a discount, then come back to the winery when the wine is bottled, typically 12-18 months from now. Many wines are so limited, buying futures is your only chance to purchase them.

Attendees are encouraged to pack a picnic as most wineries will not have food for this event. The ticket price includes the opportunity to sample wine from the barrel and in most cases also trying a limited number of current release wines.

Winemaker Breakfast and Q & A on Saturday March 3rd and Saturday March 10th. Tickets must be purchased for this added event during registration. This is an open forum for guests to meet and chat with winemakers in a casual breakfast setting with Q & A. This is not a wine tasting experience, simply breakfast and conversation. Tickets are $25 plus tax and fees.

March 3rd Breakfast:  Will be held at Pedroncelli Winery: 1220 Canyon Rd, Geyserville.  Join Winemakers Montse Reece (Pedroncelli), John Viszlay (Viszlay Vineyards) and Dan Barwick (Paradise Ridge Winery) for a casual morning of Q & A along with a breakfast before heading out to Barrel Tasting.

March 10th Breakfast: Will be held at Spicy Vines: 441 Healdsburg Ave, Healdsburg.   Join Winemakers Doug Hackett (Spicy Vines), Susie Selby (Selby Winery) and Mike Brunson (Christopher Creek Winery) for a casual morning of Q & A along with a breakfast before heading out to Barrel Tasting.

All Wine Road events are for adults only… NO ONE under the age of 21 is allowed to attend Barrel Tasting -including no babies or children of any age
