Beach and Redwood Forest Horseback Tours
Ross Ranch offers private, guided horseback rides through beautiful mountain redwood forest just east of Elk and rides along the spectacular Manchester Beach.
WHERE:
Beach rides are 23 miles north of Gualala, or 10.5 miles south of Elk at mile marker 23.5 on Hwy 1. Look for the Ross Ranch sign, horse trailer and porti-a-podi on the ocean side of Hwy 1. Park on the side of Hwy 1 (not in front of the gate.)
Forest rides are just east of Elk on Philo-Greenwood Rd. at mile marker 7.88.
