Located on Hwy 101 on the west bank of the Russian River 13 miles southeast of Ukiah, Hopland is home to 18 wineries and eight tasting rooms in downtown Hopland alone, with more along Old River Rd. and Hwy 101. In 1997, Brutocao Cellars purchased the old Hopland High School from the Fetzer family and built a 7.5-acre complex dedicated to wine and food.
