
If you are looking for a place to spend a relaxing but fun-filled day outdoors, Gualala Point Regional Park is the place to go. Open daily from dawn till dusk, this beautiful park encompasses almost 200 acres of peaceful meadows, dramatic forests and delightful sandy beaches. The Gualala River runs lazily through the park and provides fun seasonal fishing adventures for those interested in spending a day on the water. The park has a fantastic campground that provides you with a chance to “rough it.”
There is an expansive trail system where you will be able to find the perfect track to suit your skill and preference as a hiker or walker. There are several picnic areas scattered throughout the park where you can enjoy a quiet lunch or even a barbecue. Gualala Point Regional Park has a great Visitors Center featuring exhibits that showcase the history of Northern California, including its Native American predecessors and the impact of the logging industry.
