
Humboldt Bay offers excellent paddling adventures for everyone from the novice to the expert. Several companies offer kayaking and paddleboarding on the bay, with guided tours available and equipment for rent. They will also provide you with information on tides, safety, touring without leaving a trace, and other related topics.
- Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center program offers kayaks, canoes, sail boats and stand up paddleboards rentals, private and group lessons as well as guided tours around the Bay, with wildlife-watching in the Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge, Eureka’s waterfront, Woodley Island, and Arcata Marsh. Experienced guides carter to individual learning styles and skill levels. All ages welcome. Various kids camps offer during the summer.
