If you want to get away and enjoy the ruggedly beautiful attractions of nature, Willow Lake is the place for you. With four rustic cabins, you will enjoy the seclusion of the outdoors with all of the comforts of home. If you are looking to rough it a little more, there are traditional campsites available as well. While you’re staying at or visiting Willow Lake, you can enjoy all that this nearly 1,000-acre park has to offer. Hike all over the area and explore this slice of Oregon. Go boating and enjoy the activities that go along with a day on the lake. Skiing, wakeboarding and tubing are all popular lake activities. Fishermen will love the opportunity to fish for trout, bass and crappie. Mount McLaughlin looms overhead, and the placid blue water of the lake has a definite calming effect on your nerves and stress level. Willow Lake Park also offers a group campground area that can accommodate larger groups and comes complete with barbecue pits and picnic tables. Whether you are looking for a quiet day’s retreat or a longer outdoor experience, you will love the time you spend at Willow Lake Park. The park is located off of Route 37, five miles east of Butte Falls. For more information, call the Jackson County Parks Department at (541) 774-8183.
