Curly Redwood Lodge, Crescent City

August 2, 2011 by admin

Redwood-State-Park-jeanna-dotyThe Curly Redwood Lodge is one of northern California’s most unique lodges. It was built from one curly redwood tree that produced 57,000 board feet of lumber. Curly redwood is unique because of the curly grain of the wood, unlike typical straight grained redwood.

Located 5 minutes away from the Redwood National and State Parks; right across the street from our lovely harbor and beaches. After a day of hiking the redwood forests or walking the pristine beaches you can relax at the lodge and watch the beautiful sunsets over the harbor and smell the fresh ocean air.

Where: 701 US Hwy. 101 S., Crescent City (google map)
